Islamic finance is one of UniSHAMS's areas of focus and strength. Based on the importance and potential of Islamic finance in Malaysia, this field needs to be preserved so that it continues to grow until it becomes an industry that balances the conventional financial system.
The establishment of the Center for Islamic Finance and Research or UniSHAMS -CIFER as a center of excellence at UniSHAMS is a proactive step by UniSHAMS to empower this field at the national level and also at the global level. UniSHAMS-CIFER offers study programs in the field of Islamic Finance starting from the diploma level up to the highest level which is the doctoral degree level.
In addition, UniSHAMS-CIFER also has a commitment to produce high-quality research and publications, particularly in the field of Islamic finance and banking. We will also ensure that scientific activities related to Islamic finance will always be carried out actively at UniSHAMS. These activities include a series of Islamic finance lectures, workshops and training that will add value to students and all stakeholders.
Finally, I would like to call on everyone to join us at UniSHAMS–CIFER in the struggle to dignify Islamic Finance in the eyes of the world. May our efforts be blessed by Allah SWT.
