Entry Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Information Systems

i.Passed Matriculation or Basic Course with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent;

OR

ii. Passed STPM Certificate or equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in any 2 subjects and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent;

OR

iii. Diploma in Computer Science OR Software Engineering OR Information Technology OR Information Systems or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent;

OR

iv. Any Diploma in science and technology or business studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 will be accepted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process and credit in mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.

Diploma candidates who obtain a CGPA of less than 2.50 but more than 2.00 with credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted depending on a rigorous internal assessment process.

Note: Mathematics credit requirements at SPM level for candidates (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv) can be waived if the qualification contains Mathematics subjects and the achievement is equal to/more than the credit requirements of the subject at SPM level.

Candidates who obtain credit in computer -related subjects at SPM or STPM level or its equivalent may be given primary consideration.

International students must have good evidence of oral and written English proficiency such as a scale of 6.0 for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or its equivalent.
