The Department of University Development of Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah was originally created to monitor the construction of the main campus of Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah held in Kuala Ketil in 2008. The department initially operated at Sungai Petani Campus before moving to Mergong Campus in 2009. In 2013, The Development Department has moved to a permanent office in Kuala Ketil Campus and named as the Development and Maintenance Department (JPP). To date, JPP has three divisions that are in charge of development and maintenance work on two campuses namely Kuala Ketil Campus and Mergong Campus.

Vision

Aims to become a department that is always protected by Allah S.W.T. in its effort to manage the physical development and maintenance to make the Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah a global university.

Mission

To enhance the physical development and maintenance levels through the ability and experience based on Islamic values and professional ethics.

Objectives

To manage campus development and projects according to specifications and standards set.
To provide good and efficient basic infrastructure and services to meet the convenience of university students.
To maintain infrastructure, building, environment, electrical and mechanical facilities to the optimum level.
