  • What you will learn:

    In the first two years (Year 1 & 2), students will be exposed to theories and basic concepts in medicine. The disciplines includes Anatomy, Physiology, Clinical Biochemistry, Pathology, Medical Microbiology, Medical Parasitology, Pharmacology, Immunology and Haematology. These disciplines are integrated in a system based learning. In the last 3 years (Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5), students will be posted at several major hospitals in Kedah, namely; Kulim Hospital (Year 3), Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital (Year 4) and Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital (Year 5). In this phase, learning is done in the hospital ward with patients.

    1. Lulus Matrikulasi/ Asasi Sains / Program Pra-Perubatan dengan PNGK 3.0 (daripada 4.0) dalam TIGA (3) mata pelajaran Biologi, Kimia dan
      Fizik/Matematik; DAN
      Gred minima setiap mata pelajaran ialah C (PNGK 2.0); DAN
      Lulus Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / O level dengan mendapat minima 5B dalam mata pelajaran Biologi dan Kimia dan Fizik dan Matematik /Matematik Tambahan dan SATU (1) lagi mata pelajaran lain; ATAU
    2. Lulus Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) dengan mendapat BBB, ABC atau AAC atau PNGK 3.0 (daripada 4.0) dalam TIGA (3) mata pelajaran Biologi, Kimia dan Fizik/Matematik; ATAU
    3. Lulus Diploma dalam bidang Sains Kesihatan dengan mendapat PNGK 3.5 (daripada 4.0); DAN Lulus SPM/O level dengan mendapat minima 2B dalam mata pelajaran Biologi dan/atau Kimia dan/atau dan Fizik; DAN mendapat TIGA (3) kredit dalam mata pelajaran Inggeris dan Matematik/Matematik Tambahan dan SATU (1) lagi mata pelajaran; ATAU
    4. Lulus Ijazah Sarjana Muda dengan mendapat PNGK 3.0 (daripada 4.0) dalam bidang Sains Kesihatan/Tulen/Gunaan); ATAU Lulus dengan mendapat PNGK 3.5 (daripada 4.0) dalam bidang Seni dan Kemanusiaan.
