    In the first two years (Year 1 & 2), students will be exposed to theories and basic concepts in medicine. The disciplines includes Anatomy, Physiology, Clinical Biochemistry, Pathology, Medical Microbiology, Medical Parasitology, Pharmacology, Immunology and Haematology. These disciplines are integrated in a system based learning. In the last 3 years (Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5), students will be posted at several major hospitals in Kedah, namely; Kulim Hospital (Year 3), Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital (Year 4) and Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital (Year 5). In this phase, learning is done in the hospital ward with patients.

    1. Passed Matriculation/ Foundation in Science/Pre-Medical programme with CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) in THREE (3) subjects Biology, Chemistry and
      Physics/Mathematics; AND Minimum grade for each subject is C (GP 2.0); AND Passed SPM/O level with minimum 5B in subjects Biology and Chemistry and Physics and Mathematics/Add Mathematics and another subject; OR
    2. Passed STPM with gred BBB, ABC or AAC or CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) in THREE (3) subjects Biology, Chemistry and Physic/Mathematics; OR
    3. Passed Diploma in Health Sciences with CGPA 3.5 (out of 4.0); AND Passed SPM/O level with minimum 2B in subject Biology and/or Chemistry
      and/or Physic; AND THREE (3) credit in English and Mathematics/Add Mathematics and another subject; OR
    4. Passed Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) in Health Sciences/Pure/Applied Sciences; OR Passed with CGPA 3.5 (out of 4.0) in Arts or Humanities
