Overview
The Diploma in Nursing programme is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge, practical skills, and professional values required to become competent and compassionate nursing professionals. Throughout the programme, students will gain a strong foundation in nursing sciences, patient care, health promotion, disease prevention, and clinical practice through a combination of classroom learning, laboratory simulations, and supervised clinical placements.

Full Time: 3 Years (6 Semesters)
a. Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM)
Applicants must possess the SPM with a minimum of THREE (3) credits in the following subjects:
- Bahasa Melayu (Malay Language)
- Mathematics (Elementary/Modern/Additional Mathematics)
- Science (General Science/Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Applied Science/Additional Science)
AND
Pass in TWO (2) other subjects, including English Language.
OR
b. Malaysian Higher Islamic Certificate (STAM)
Applicants must possess the Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul, and also possess the SPM with at least THREE (3) credits in the following subjects:
- Bahasa Melayu (Malay Language)
- Mathematics (Mathematics/Additional Mathematics/Modern Mathematics)
- Science (General Science/Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Applied Science/Additional Science)
OR
c. Community Nurse Certificate Holder (**)
Applicants must:
- Hold a Community Nurse Certificate.
- Be registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board (MNB).
- Possess a valid Practising Certificate (PC) or Retention of Name (RON) issued by the Malaysian Nursing Board.
- Malaysian applicants with Retention of Name (RON) status must obtain a valid Practising Certificate (PC) through the Higher Education Institution (HEI) before commencing clinical placement in Malaysia. Upon approval of the Practising Certificate (PC), the RON status will be terminated.
- Have a minimum of 36 months of clinical working experience.
OR
d. Nursing Assistant (**)
Applicants must:
- Possess the SPM.
- Be registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board (MNB).
- Possess a valid Practising Certificate (PC) or Retention of Name (RON) issued by the Malaysian Nursing Board.
- Malaysian applicants with Retention of Name (RON) status must obtain a valid Practising Certificate (PC) through the Higher Education Institution (HEI) before commencing clinical placement in Malaysia. Upon approval of the Practising Certificate (PC), the RON status will be terminated.
- Have a minimum of 36 months of clinical working experience.
