Overview

This programme focuses on developing students’ understanding of hotel operations and hospitality services. Students will gain essential knowledge in front office, housekeeping, food and beverage service, and hospitality marketing. The curriculum includes practical training and industry exposure to prepare students for supervisory roles in hotels, resorts, food & beverage industry establishments. It also emphasizes on customer service excellence and operational efficiency.

Programme Objectives
  • Semiprofessional hoteliers who analyze and apply basic knowledge and practical skills in all areas of services and other related disciplines in order to provide quality products and services to hospitality and related industries.
  • Semiprofessional hoteliers who lead and engage in multi-disciplinary teams to solve issues through effective and efficient communication based on Islamic values.
  • Semiprofessional hoteliers who pursue to enhance self-development and hunt for opportunities in entrepreneurship by utilizing information technologies in the services related industry.
  • Semiprofessional hoteliers who practice ethical, professional values and voluntary spirit in providing services to the recipients and needy community.
Programme Duration
  • Full Time: 3 Years
Entry Requirements
    • Pass the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with at least THREE (3) credits in any subjects or equivalent qualification; OR
    • Pass the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) with at least Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subjects or equivalent; OR
    • Pass the Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (STAM) with at least Maqbul Grade in any subjects or equivalent; OR
    • Pass Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 in a related field; OR
    • Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field or its equivalent.

For International Students

IELTS minimum score of 4.0 / MUET with Band 2 or its equivalent.
