This program is specifically designed to meet the demands of the dynamic creative industry by integrating artistic theory with practical applications. It is a creative-driven program that emphasizes the development of visual communication skills, creative thinking, and the utilization of digital design technology in today’s creative landscape.
The program aims to produce graphic design graduates who are creative, innovative, and highly skilled technically in communicating ideas and generating professional visual works that meet current industry standards. Throughout their studies, students will be exposed to core components such as the fundamentals of art and design, typography, visual communication design, branding, digital illustration, photography, packaging design, digital media, advertising, and corporate identity development.
Additionally, the program emphasizes mastery of professional design software as well as the creative idea development process guiding students from the initial research phase all the way to the production of the final product.Through a balanced approach of theoretical and practical learning, students have the opportunity to build a creative portfolio that enhances their marketability in the art and design industry. The program also helps students develop professional skills in communication, teamwork, and visual problem-solving.

Full Time: 3 Years

Possess the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with at least THREE (3) credits in any subjects; OR

Pass the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) with at least Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subjects; OR

Pass the Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (STAM) with at least Maqbul Grade; OR

Possess a Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 / Malaysian Vocational Certificate (SVM). *Note: The University is responsible for conducting screening and providing necessary guidance specific to the program discipline; OR

Recognized certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field with at least Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subjects; OR

Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia; AND

Pass an interview (online/virtual/conventional) OR submission of a portfolio as determined by the University according to requirements.
