This programme is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in culinary techniques, kitchen operations, food preparation, and presentation. With a strong emphasis on hands-on training, students will explore both local and international cuisines while developing creativity, hygiene practices, and kitchen management skills. Graduates will be well-prepared for careers in hotels, restaurants, catering services, and the broader food and beverage industry.

Pass SPM with at least three (3) credits or equivalent; OR

1. Do I need prior experience in kitchen to join this program?
No prior experience is required. The program is designed for beginners who are interested to be a chef or others related work in hospitality industry.
2. What career opportunities are available after graduation?
Graduates can pursue careers in hotels, resorts, restaurants, and event management, as well as in catering businesses and food service operations. Some alumni also work in the government sector, such as Assistant Food Preparation Officers and Culinary Lab Supervisors.
3. Will I gain hands-on experience during the program?
Yes, the program emphasizes practical training through kitchen classes and industry exposure to ensure students are job-ready.
4. Is industrial training (internship) included?
Yes, students will undergo industrial training in hotels or related hospitality organizations to gain real working experience.
