Overview
The Bachelor of Al-Quran and Qiraat Studies with Honours is an academic program designed to produce graduates with extensive knowledge in the field of Al-Quran and Qiraat studies, as well as high-level skills in the recitation, understanding, and appreciation of the Al-Quran according to authentic scholarly disciplines. This program emphasizes the mastery of Al-Quranic sciences such as Tajwid, Tarannum, Tafsir, Ulum al-Quran, and the science of Qiraat through both theoretical and practical approaches based on sanad (chains of narration) and Islamic scholarly traditions (turath).
In addition, the program builds students' capabilities in research, communication, leadership, and the use of modern technology to ensure they can meet the contemporary needs of society and the Islamic education industry. Graduates of this program have the potential to serve in various fields, such as education, dakwah (outreach), research, religious administration, and community development rooted in the Al-Quran and Sunnah.

Full Time: 3 Years 6 Months

Pass STPM with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 and at least TWO (2) full passes, and ONE (1) of them in a subject related to Islamic Studies; OR

Pass a qualification equivalent to STPM such as A-level, provided the applicant passes at least ONE (1) Islamic Studies subject in that qualification; OR

Pass a Foundation / Matriculation program or recognized equivalent as Islamic Studies Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00; OR

Pass STAM with an overall Maqbul grade; OR

Recognized Diploma in Islamic Studies or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00.
