The Bachelor of Arabic Language with Honours program at Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah International Islamic University (UniSHAMS) is an academic program designed to produce knowledgeable, competent, and professional graduates in the field of Arabic language.

In addition to developing the ability to communicate effectively in Arabic within academic and professional situations, this program aims to produce graduates who can contribute to the development of society and industry through critical, innovative thinking and integrity, in line with the current requirements of higher education and the job market.

Full Time: 3 Years 6 Months

Pass STPM with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 and at least TWO (2) full passes, and ONE (1) of them in a subject related to Islamic Studies; OR

Pass a qualification equivalent to STPM such as A-level, provided the applicant passes at least ONE (1) Islamic Studies subject in that qualification; OR

Pass a Foundation / Matriculation program or recognized equivalent as Islamic Studies Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00; OR

Pass STAM with an overall Maqbul grade; OR

Recognized Diploma in Islamic Studies or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00.
