Centre for Languages

Assalamualaikum and good day

Welcome aboard to Centre for Languages (Pusat Bahasa), one of the supporting centres in UniSHAMS. Pusat Bahasa was formerly known as Insan Fasih from 2009 until Jun 2013. From July of 2013 onwards, Pusat Bahasa was then reinstated.

Pusat Bahasa is comprised of two main units; English Unit and Arabic Unit. Language courses offered by Pusat Bahasa are compulsory university courses.

Aside from the compulsory university courses, Pusat Bahasa also offers English and Arabic intensive course, translation and proof reading and short courses for both UniSHAMS and members of the public. Currently, Pusat Bahasa has 15 academic staffs and 2 administrative staffs.

I sincerely hope that Pusat Bahasa will always be a great medium for the effectiveness of communication and language proficiency for the students of UniSHAMS. Pusat Bahasa is committed in providing the best educational services to the students of UniSHAMS and we aim to produce graduates who are not only knowledgeable but proficient in communicating in English and Arabic.
