Introduction

At the beginning of the establishment of INSANIAH or the Islamic Religious Institute of Kedah Darul Aman in 1995, the Registrar's Department was responsible for managing all administrative matters including student affairs and academic affairs due to the lack of officers and staff besides the very small number of students. However, since 2001, after the inception of Student Affairs Department and Academic Affairs Department, The Registrar's office is fully functional on administrative management.

The Registrar Department is a major milestone in the administration of the university as well as a human resource management centre, a management and administrative information resource center, and plays an important role in mobilizing university administration and management activities. It is one of the goals in always providing the best service to every customer in an effort to support the vision, mission and objectives of the university.

This important component is headed by the Registrar who is responsible for planning, managing, monitoring and ensuring the handling of all administrative management activities as well as other university activities arein accordance with the prescribed procedures so that all teaching, academic and research activities can be conducted in an orderly and efficient manner.

The Registrar's Department is a catalyst for the development of staff excellence, credibility and competence through the implementation of career development programs and the personality of employees because staff excellence is balanced by both aspects. These two aspects will complement each other in the process of improving the careers of the staff, in line with the effort to produce quality staff, besides full of integrity, accountability, competent, and the ability to move forward through continuous learning.

In order to carry out this responsibility, the Registrar Department is divided into three sections as follows:
